The non-profit metropolitan art organisation urban dialogues is treating questions of urban
change and flux during the last ten years through a series site-specific projects in Berlin.
Starting point was a project entitled urban dialogues (outside) in 1998. The project
addressed the final moments of the reconstruction of central Berlin in form of an artistic
visual and performative intervention.

uno spazio aperto, un luogo di scambi e di incontri, di libertà ed equità, crocevia di
culture e di dialoghi.

Da una parte Jacques Herzog ritiene che l’architettura sia fatta per essere sperimentata, dall’altra un artista come Jeff Wall cerca di comprendere come trarre vantaggio dagli eventuali errori nelle sue fotografie.

Sarah Morris's film, Capital, was shot on location in Washington, D.C. on September 11 - 14, 2000. It shows fast-paced sequences of political icons: the Mall, the White House Press Office, the World Bank, uniformed members of the Secret Service, the Presidential motorcade, the Watergate Complex, the Kennedy Center, the Department of Energy, the J. Edgar Hoover Building, among many others.
